The Herbal Heroes comic book is written for elementary-age readers (ages 5 to 10), but the herbal tea blends themselves are gentle enough for kids, teens, and adults alike. The body check-in practice works at any age. Always consult your pediatrician before starting any herbal regimen with young children.

Every blend is formulated by an herbalist using herbs with long histories of safe use in children. Ingredients like chamomile, peppermint, rooibos, and Tulsi are gentle and well-tolerated. We use no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners. If your child has allergies or takes medication, please check with their doctor first.

Daisy family (Asteraceae) allergy: Focus Friend, Super Shield, and Calm Tummy contain chamomile and/or echinacea, which belong to the daisy family. If your child has a known allergy to ragweed, daisies, chamomile, or chrysanthemums, please consult your healthcare provider before use.

Lavender in Happy Hug: Happy Hug contains a small amount of lavender flowers. For children with hormone-sensitive conditions or a history of early puberty, consult your healthcare provider before regular use.

Each tea blend is named after a character in the comic. As kids read the story, they learn what each hero does and how they connect to real herbs and body sensations. The comic teaches body awareness, and the tea provides a tangible, daily ritual tied to those lessons.

Focus Friend (Blue Butterfly Mint): Peppermint leaf, lemon balm, chamomile flowers, butterfly pea flowers.

Super Shield (Sunny Citrus Defense): Rooibos, dried orange peel, dried apple pieces, Ceylon cinnamon bark, dried ginger root, turmeric root chips, echinacea, safflower petals.

Happy Hug (Pink Berry Rooibos): Rooibos, dried berry pieces, rosehips, Tulsi (holy basil), dried orange peel, lavender flowers, dried apple pieces.

Calm Tummy (Gentle Belly): Peppermint leaf, chamomile flowers, dried ginger root.

All herbs are certified organic. Every blend has been refined through a peer-reviewed pediatric safety and efficacy review.

Yes. Herbal Hero Blends aligns with the CASEL framework for Social-Emotional Learning, specifically Competency 1 (Self-Awareness) and Competency 2 (Self-Management).
